Antalya
The Antalya region proffers all the theology and is called the "Turkish Riviera" attributable to its archaeological and natural magnificence. Dalaman
Dalaman is a district situated on the south-western coast of Turkey. Dalaman is known for its international airport which serves as a gateway for visitors. Dalaman is known as the 'Turquoise Coast' because of the turquoise seas. The village of Dalaman is 130 years old and the Kocagol is the largest and the deepest lake that must be seen. The area is renowned for its plant species. Explore the amazing coves like Tasyaka, Sarsala and Bungus. Stroll along the shores of Dalaman and enjoy the lovely scenery. Dalaman Plain is the most productive plain of Muğla Province. Olu Deniz is the most photographed beach in Turkey for its gorgeous blue lagoon. It is well-known for its sulphur-rich baths that are said to ease the symptoms of various muscle and skin-related conditions. It’s said that the waters will make you look younger although there’s no real proof for this. The economy of the county is based on tourism, transportation, and agriculture and the paper industry. It has its own natural beach although not excessively commercial it is pleasant and hosts lots of wildlife.
Istanbul
The splendid city of Istanbul is a blend of two cultures, the east and the west. Geographically it is the only city that straddles across two continents, Europe and Asia, separated only by the Bosphorus Strait. This modern Turkish city, initially known as Byzantium and later as Constantinople, is a perfect holiday destination for tourists who can enjoy the best of both cultures. It is the historical and cultural hub of Turkey, and the centre of all its commercial activity. The place is awash with Byzantine ruins, magnificent palaces, splendid architecture in terms of mosques and churches, hamams (bath-houses), and bazaars crammed with shops selling all kinds of exotic stuff. However, spread all across the modern city are some trendy bars and nightclubs, stores selling western outfits, offices and restaurants. The city each day comes to life with the sound of prayers in mosques, and the sight of busy streets buzzing with activity. The city enjoys hot, humid summers, and tourists usually choose this season to travel here as winters are cold, wet and there is often snow.
Izmir
Izmir a lively cosmopolitan city located in the Gulf of Izmir by the Aegean Sea. It is the largest port after Istanbul, backed by picturesque scenic sights and ancient history. Izmir formerly known as Smyrna, bursts with activity all year round with the International arts festival (June/July) and the International fair (August/Sept). Izmir is famous for its picturesque beaches and plenty of sites to explore.
Kusadasi
Kusadasi is a resort town on the Aegean Coast of Turkey,close to the ancient city of Ephesus. Once just a small fishing village, is today among the most populated resorts in Turkey.
However in spite of its new found popularity, Kusadasi is a great holiday resort with an amazingly beautiful coastline and several archaeological sites nearby. The proximity to these historical sites and to the Ionian settlements of Miletus, Priene and Didyma makes this place an ideal base to travelers wanting to explore the Aegean coast.
Olu Deniz
