Itinerary

Days 1-2 : UK – Beijing
Fly overnight to Beijing where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a ride on a rickshaw through Beijing's famous Hutongs. (D)

Day 3 : Great Wall & Temple of Heaven
Visit the Great Wall, China's most iconic attraction. Later, you will visit the Temple of Heaven. (B,L)

Day 4 : Forbidden City & Summer Palace
Stroll through Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao's Mausoleum to the treasure-filled Forbidden City. Later, tour the exquisite Summer Palace. (B,L)

Day 5 : Beijing – Xian
Fly to ancient capital Xian and enjoy a day of leisure. (B)

Day 6 : Terracotta Warriors
Stand face to face with the Terracotta Warriors and walk along the Ancient City Wall. (B,L)

Day 7 : Xian – Chengdu
Fly to Chengdu and enjoy a day of leisure. (B)

Day 8 : Grand Buddha of Leshan
Travel to Leshan and take a short boat trip to see the remarkable Grand Buddha, the world's largest stone-carved Buddhist statue.Later, visit the old town of Huanglongxi. Return to Chengdu for a Sichuanese meal. (B,L,D)

Day 9 : Panda Conservation Centre
Visit the Panda Reserve to see the Pandas being reared in woodland surroundings. Visit the ancient World Heritage Dujiangyan Irrigation project. Return to Chengdu Airport for your evening flight to the UK. (B,L)

Arrive in London at 7:20 am.
